RSPB South Stack, 30th March 2016

Another early start, on a mission this time to see my first puffin at RSPB South Stack in Anglesey.

Unfortunately it was too early in the year to see these little characters. But no matter because South Stack in itself, with or without wildlife is absolutely breathtaking! The fact that we didn’t see any puffins is a good excuse to revisit this amazing nature reserve.

Earlier that week we had decided to treat ourselves to a fancy meal in a local restaurant. Next time we are going to save our pennies because eating a ham sandwich on the cliffs at South Stack watching a pair of nesting peregrines I can honestly say was a hundred times better!

Other wildlife we saw that day…
